What is a CNAM recommendation? Is it regulatory?
Recommendations are texts that define and group together best practices for preventing the risks associated with your activity.
They do not constitute regulations, but failure to comply with them may have legal consequences (e.g. for qualifying as inexcusable misconduct).
Recommendations are therefore an important tool in occupational risk prevention.
Who checks compliance with TDG regulations?
Checks are carried out by each state applying the ADR according to its own legislation. In France, inspections may be carried out at the roadside or at loading/unloading sites. Inspections are carried out by land transport inspectors (Ministry of Transport), customs, police and gendarmerie officers, as well as labor inspectors...
