Understanding the role of associations

An association can only act within the limits of its collective project. This is defined by its articles of association, in the section entitled "corporate purpose" ("the purpose of this association is to...").

When an operator is confronted with action taken by an association, it is therefore important to identify the scope of the association's activities by referring to its articles of association.

This field of action is defined in material terms (their project) and in geographical terms (their area of intervention).
