Environmental acoustics - Effects of boundaries on outdoor sound propagation

As in the article [BR 100] for the open environment, a distinction is made for boundary effects – soil effects in particular – between reference and laboratory numerical models (which take into account almost all physical phenomena) and simplified (or engineering) models, which are simpler and quicker to implement.
