6. Filtration

6.1 General

Whether the water is coagulated or not, decanted (or "floated") or not, it must always be filtered to ensure that the removal of insoluble matter is as complete as possible (i.e., that turbidity is reduced to close to zero). Filtration is also essential for deferrisation-demanganisation
