1. Building measures
Whereas laboratory measurements are essentially concerned with products or systems, "in situ" tests qualify a structure in its entirety. To understand the results of a measurement, it is therefore first necessary to understand the different transmission paths that exist.
The study of lateral transmissions alone requires several theses, and we won't go into too much detail on this vast subject.
