A few words about listeners and auditees

You can't improvise being an auditor! Specific skills are required, based on demonstration:

• personal qualities ;

• the ability to apply knowledge and skills.

The standard NF EN ISO 19011:2018 lists, in paragraph 7.2.2, the personal behaviors that an auditor should adopt, namely:

• " – integrity, i.e. fairness, commitment to truth, sincerity, honesty and discretion;

• " – open-minded, i.e. willing to consider different ideas or points of view ;

• " – diplomacy, i.e. tact and skill in dealing with others;

• " – observer, i.e. actively attentive to the physical environment and associated activities;
