5. Conclusion
As we have seen in this article, localized airflow protection can deliver greater performance than global protection. The geometry of the devices, and in particular the guides, as well as the use of air returns and air flows of different densities, can ensure a robust curtain, even in the event of break-ins. The protection is economical to install (no workshop modifications as extensive as for the installation of an entire cleanroom, adaptation to pre-existing lines, modularity to suit changes in production) and to use (lower energy consumption, less frequent filter replacement).
