1. Hedge networks
In this article, we refer to hedgerows as lines of trees and/or shrubs no more than 10 m wide. Hedgerows are located between two agricultural plots or between an agricultural plot and a road. They are managed landscape features. As we shall see, hedgerows can vary greatly from one region to another.
