Air and emissions: mastering the obligations imposed by chemical products and substances

Areas where the release of air may give rise to risks must be identified and equipped for prevention and protection.

Hazardous atmosphere detectors must be installed (toxic, explosive).

Areas where flammable or explosive substances are handled must be ventilated.

Depending on the type of hazard, production equipment must be linked to ventilation and/or evacuation alarms must be triggered when a hazardous atmosphere is detected, to prevent personnel from entering the danger zone.
