How to obtain your UFI number ?

The UFI number is generated using an algorithm that l’Agence européenne des produits chimiques provides on its website.

On this page, available in all EU languages, you can:

• create one or more UFIs;

• check whether the UFI number you have is valid;

• Obtain a company key if you have decided to implement the UFI generator in your own software AND you do not have a VAT number or do not wish to use it.

In practical terms, the UFI number is obtained on the basis of two pieces of information:
