2. What types of containers can be used for "bulk" transport?
The types of container defined by the ADR that can be used for "bulk" transport are :
or equipment that can be handled on its own and attached to a vehicle chassis for transport;
or vehicles with equipment attached, forming a complete assembly.
Equipment includes :
tank containers, tank swap bodies and multiple-element gas containers (MEGC – pressure receptacle or tank assembly) intended for carriage by road, and described in § 6.8 of the ADR; tank containers and tank swap bodies may also be made of fiber-reinforced plastic, in which case they comply with § 6.9 of the ADR;
