Polychlorinated dibenzoparadioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) are two series of planar molecules belonging to the group of polychlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons, known generically as dioxins. The main sources of PCDD and PCDF are chemical and thermal reactions.
