ACA (–-benefit analysis); Cost- -benefit analysis (CBA)
A method that compares, in euros, all the costs and benefits of an option over its entire life cycle.
CBA (cost-–-benefit analysis)
Operational synonym for CBA.
CEA (cost-effectiveness analysis); Cost-–-effectiveness analysis (CEA)
Compares the cost per unit of effect (kg of phosphorus recovered, metric tons of CO2e avoided, DALYs avoided, etc.).
ACU (cost-utility analysis)
A sophisticated variant of CBA/ACA using synthetic health indicators.
LCA (Life Cycle Assessment)
Assesses impacts and costs from cradle to grave.
ADEME (Agency for Ecological Transition)
A French public agency that supports research and provides funding (cited in the bibliography).
