Depigmenting products come in both cosmetic and dermatological forms. From a regulatory point of view, dermatological products are only authorized for sale if they have a Marketing Authorization (MA), unlike cosmetics, which do not. As a result, manufacturers assume responsibility for the safety of their products through the following provisions
