4. Conclusion
Pickering emulsions are emulsions stabilized by inorganic or organic solid particles. Compared to conventional emulsions stabilized by surfactants, they are very stable and can be obtained in a wide range of sizes up to a millimeter. The particles can not only play a technical role in stabilizing the droplets, but also have other functions such as consistency agent, active substance, and cosmetic active ingredient protection agent.
