4. Evacuation of liquid phases
Two main techniques are used for both separators and decanters.

Turbine discharge
A turbine, installed on one or more liquid phases, delivers the treated product under pressure. Discharge pressure can reach 6 to 10 bar.
The product comes into much less contact with the ambient air than with a free outlet.
