Although conditions today seem favorable for a return to the use of natural colorants, the Couleurs de Plantes project remains a challenge in agro-industrial terms, an original and virtually unique experiment.
First and foremost, there is the difficulty of offering innovative products in emerging markets, requiring strong technical support for formulating customers. Of course, the challenge also lies in industrial-scale production, capable of satisfying mass markets, but also integrating criteria of quality, reproducibility, safety...
In today's race for natural products, we are often called upon to offer colorants that are guaranteed to be natural, that match current color charts and standards, that integrate perfectly with industrial processes, that perform as well as or better than synthetic ingredients and, of course, that are less expensive....
