Equipped with appropriate analysis systems, lab-on-a-chip systems are highly efficient platforms for acquiring basic data, particularly useful for engineers and technicians whose objectives range from optimizing syntheses or formulations to dimensioning industrial processes in line with green chemistry criteria [CHV 1 010] .
