Olefins provide a source of radical acceptors that can be used in a single transformation to produce highly sophisticated synthetic intermediates. This chapter describes a number of radical additions to olefins, leading to the formation of new C-C and C-N bonds under mild and, for the most part, non-polluting conditions.
