2.1 Operating conditions
These are determined based on reference. Safety requirements dictate that the orthoxylene content in the feed mixture must be very low, close to 1%. The air/o-xylene mass ratio is around 20. The orthoxylene feed flow rate can reach 6.67 × 10–2kg·s–1 per cubic meter of catalyst mass. The feed temperature is around 423 K.
