On any given floor, three types of heat exchange occur:

• sensible heat exchange, due to temperature variations between two stages ;

• latent heat exchange, due to the vaporization of a certain quantity of body A and the condensation of a certain quantity of body B ;

• Mixing heat exchange: mixture of A vaporized with the vapour phase and mixture of B condensed with the liquid phase.
