When partial flow operation is required by the very nature of the process to which the pump is integrated, it is always necessary, at the design stage, to consider multi-pump solutions among the many possible solutions.

§ 2.3), if we hadn't chosen the "all-or-nothing operation" option, which makes a multi-pump solution unattractive, we would have had to consider the possibility of using two or three pumps operating in parallel. We would then have had to complete Table 3 on
