1. Main techniques using atomic spectra constants
These are mainly analytical techniques that use the constants of atomic spectra.
The general schematic diagram of analytical spectrochemistry techniques is shown in figure 1. It comprises three parts:
preparation and atomization of the sample to be analyzed;
the physical interaction of radiation (lamp, laser, etc.) with the atoms of the atomized analyte;
the detection system.
