1. Data overview
The quantities reported in the following tables represent both experimental data and the coefficients of two equations describing variations in surface tension as a function of temperature.
In the second column, a reference temperature is given, T ref (K), at which a surface tension measurement was carried out. This temperature is usually room temperature or close to room temperature.
In the third column, the experimental value of surface tension, σ ref (in 10– 3 N · m–1), measured at the reference temperature, is shown.
