1.1 Installation
MATLAB is available for both Windows and Unix environments, and can be installed in one of two ways: the first is for use in local mode, the second for use in network mode.
installation under MacOs is more delicate than for other environments, but installation information and special patches are available on the MathWorks website.
Local mode under Windows: the Windows version of MATLAB comes with a PLP (Personal License Password) which identifies the products that can be installed.
