Simulating the perception of the colors of organic colorants

As we saw in the introduction, it's an exaggeration to think that matter has an intrinsic color. Color is first and foremost a perception. This physiological perception, which more precisely defines color, is linked to three parameters:

• the nature of the illuminated object ;

• the light that illuminates the object;

• the sensor (the eye) which receives the message and communicates it to the brain via electrical impulses.
