Stacker cranes

Introduced simultaneously in the mid-1960s in Switzerland, Germany and the United States, stacker cranes need to be considered in the context of their environment: that of warehousing and order picking.

Here we take a look at the various applications that share the same functions:

• storage (placing in stock, removing from stock) ;

• order picking.
