2.1 Vibration level monitoring of indicators (overall levels)
Provided that the measurements have been taken either on different frequency bands, or according to different indicators which are themselves more sensitive to different frequencies, it is possible, by looking at the evolution of the levels of these different parameters in a comparative way, to get an idea of the families of faults responsible for machine vibration and, possibly, to orientate research for further analysis (table 1).
