The heuristic map (see its illustration (Tool

)) is a quasi-static representation using objects detectable by sight and sound (a photo at time t, which can be enhanced and whose trajectory kept if necessary). It allows for multiple relationships between objects, icons, etc. It is therefore very useful for creative and organizational tasks, alone or in a group. But, as the saying goes in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), "the map is not the territory": CH is no substitute for a reality check and a hands-on approach.
