7. Mistakes to avoid
Think that increasing pressure during welding improves weld strength:
Caution: you are welding with vibrations at the contact plane, and any excessive clamping will limit the amplitude of the vibrations and therefore the amount of energy.
By increasing the pressure on your assembly beyond a certain limit (to be determined - between 2.5 and 3 bars or 0.25 to 0.3 MPa) you reduce the strength of your welds.
