Organize a project closing meeting

Post-evaluation highlights any weaknesses or malfunctions that may have arisen during the project.

When the project is completed, an assessment compares three states:

• the initial unsatisfactory situation (the need) ;

• the projected satisfactory situation (the objectives set) ;

• the situation achieved (results).

The project is successful if the situation is close to satisfactory.

Any discrepancies observed need to be analyzed in greater detail to identify their causes:

• problems in defining objectives, which are often ambitious;

• resolution problems (poor risk assessment, poor planning, poor resource allocation)....
