Needs requirements relate to the services and performances that your product/system/component must meet. Examples: maximum power (Pmax), continuous power, maximum torque (Cmax), consumption, acoustics, comfort, etc.

Formalize these requirements in the form of operating points to be reproduced during validation. Example for an automotive engine: represent the maximum power curve in a speed/torque reference frame, as well as the duration to be maintained at this Pmax without degrading performance.
