5. Which prototyping technologies to use? – Plastic parts

Depending on what is required in terms of validation, different techniques will be used, depending on the productivity and representativeness required. For "standard" and machined parts, the same techniques apply as for mechanical parts.

5.1 Prototype molding

The "good material" parts are manufactured on injection molding machines, the mold being made either :

  • in resin from a master model, itself obtained by stereolithography;
