6. Mistakes to avoid
The terminology used in your documents is specific to your company and organization. Under no circumstances does the standard require you to modify the terms used in your documentation system (procedures, instructions, records, etc.) by introducing the notion of documented information.
On this subject, we note what the ISO 9001 standard reminds us in its introduction:
"This international standard is not intended to impose :
uniformity in the structure of the various quality management systems;
alignment of documentation to conform to the structure of this international standard ;
the use within the organization of terminology specific to this international standard.
