Do you need to measure or control your product?

If your product is subject to mandatory controls, it's up to you to implement them in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. In the first instance, legislation requires you to control certain parameters of your product. Most of the time, however, they don't impose any means of control, so it's up to you to decide on the most appropriate one.

It would be futile to attempt an exhaustive list of testing methods here. There are two main types of testing, covering all existing methods: non-destructive testing (NDT) and destructive testing (DT).

As the name suggests, the type of inspection may or may not allow the tested part to be preserved.
