The PRINCE2 model addresses four levels of responsibility: organizational management, project management, management and sequence control. Product delivery management covers five key project characteristics and is based on six performance conditions (see Glossary).

The PRINCE2 model is based on a project management process and six key processes: starting the project, initiating the project, managing the scope of the sequence, controlling the sequences, managing product delivery and closing the project. The project management process takes place throughout the project lifecycle.
