A project is successful when it has generated a product and when this product fits perfectly into its context.

A graphic representation of a project's success can be made using a systemic approach as shown in figure 1 , in which :

• the environment represents the product's context, which must be understood in order to analyze the needs to be met and to integrate the product successfully;

• the designer is the creator, transforming generated or latent needs into a product;

• the project/product is the material or organizational embodiment of the designer's creative thinking.
