Industrialization process - Schematics in the process industry

It is based on the process diagram and its accompanying documents, as well as elevation and layout studies. At the same time, equipment specification studies are launched, starting with process data and ending with production data.

It describes the production unit (product or utility) with :

• all devices or equipment represented symbolically or, more often than not, in a simplified figurative manner. This is not a representation to exact scale (or exact dimensioning), but the proposals are respected, as is the relative positioning of the equipment;
