Manufacturing scheduling

As with many open fields, it is difficult to propose a totally satisfactory classification of scheduling problem-solving techniques. Here, we have chosen a classification that should give a relatively clear "first-level" view of the landscape formed by all these methods. However, these categories are far from disjointed, and the actual landscape is somewhat more complex.

It should be noted that many of these methods are also used in batch plants, and have been mentioned in the dossier. , ref. [4] . We'll try to add to this list and show the specificities of their application to manufacturing workshops.
