The originality and interest of ISO 10006 comes from the fact that this document analyzes any project as a complex system of interactive processes, which can be studied individually or considered as a whole, through their results.
Each process (figure 2) is itself a temporary sub-system, providing outputs (products, documents, instructions) from inputs (materials or information) using tools, methods and resources, and under the impetus of a lead manager.
The outputs of a process are the inputs of subsequent processes, up to the final output, which is the work produced by the project.
