Conclusion
RMS : an evolution in manufacturing systems

Using an RMS brings a number of advantages, but also makes the management of such a system more complex. We therefore need to provide manufacturers with methods for considering the reconfigurable nature of the system, and for facilitating the decision-making process of the person in charge of managing the RMS. This methodological contribution, without being exhaustive, could be at the level of system description, control engineering, or even control/command, with the integration of monitoring, supervision, expression and management of modes, and decision support.

Engineering tools for deriving models through refinement, or using off-the-shelf components that can be parameterized to capitalize on knowledge, coupled with simulation verification and a priori validation tools, are already demonstrating their potential
