1.1 Design and sensory design
Sensory design belongs to design. It has already undergone several definitions, reflecting its evolution. We can sum up the first founding definitions in one formula: "design makes you see". The result of a design service can be seen, must be seen. The first practicing designers, describing their profession, "theorized" about these stylistic notions
From this definition, strongly limited to the external attributes of an object, but linked to economic constraints, the following definitions, derived from practices, will integrate manufacturing constraints:
