10.1 Origins and missions
Before 2010, export license applications for dual-use goods were controlled at national level by the Mission de contrôle de l'exportation (MCE) attached to the Ministry of Industry, in conjunction with :
Customs Department;
Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
SGA of the Ministry of Defence;
Secretary of State for Foreign Trade ;
the General Secretariat of National Defense.
