Smartglass for Remote Assistance Solution from Expert Teleportation at EDF

For EDF, the calculation is quick and easy. For the Sendou plant alone, it was planned to send 10 experts to the site for 5 days. With the Expert Teleportation solution, only 3 experts were dispatched to the site, representing an immediate saving of 7 return plane tickets, 35 hotel nights and 280 expert hours. "About 4 trips avoided are enough to make the initial investment in equipment pay off," says Didier Rubert.

In the end, a significant reduction in environmental impact (over 20 tonnes CO₂).
