Abbreviation for a codified two-dimensional representation technique.

Tree ; tree

Representation of the relationships between objects in a network reduced to a tree linking the root node to the leaf nodes via a number of intermediate nodes. A tree thus links a product to its components; another links a folder to its constituent documents.

Archivage long terme; long-term archiving

The multiple digital data storage formats that evolve with software development (and sometimes disappear) raise the question of how to archive the digital documentation generated during product development. Certain regulations (nuclear, aeronautical...) require that documents be retained and rereadable for up to 50 years after their creation.
