5. Packaging labelling
With the rare exceptions specified in the regulations, packaging and IBCs for the transport of hazardous materials must be labeled to enable the nature of the danger posed by the goods to be identified externally, and to inform those involved at the time of shipment, during transport and during handling, of the precautions to be taken.
