This category covers various types of equipment specially designed to handle containers used mainly in maritime and approach transport, and measuring 6 m (20 ft) or more in length.

It includes :

• high-capacity front-end forklifts ;

• stackers, similar in principle to all-terrain forklifts with telescopic booms, but with greater capacity and fitted with suitable equipment instead of forks;

• straddle carriers with gantry chassis for straddling loads.
