3. Criteria for choosing a manual handling truck
When choosing a manual forklift, the six main criteria outlined in this section should be borne in mind.
The nature of the load of products to be transported can be divided into three main categories:
Bulk products: heavy products are obviously handled using a wheelbarrow with a full boot. Other products that cannot be stored one on top of the other - bottles, unwrapped meat quarters, various cleaning products, dirty linen, etc. - will be transported in box carts;
Homogeneous products: cartons, crates, bags of the same shape, volume and weight can be moved using the full range of platform carts equipped with side panels;
