Without getting existentially provocative about chaos, why should we ignore the influences on our environment and behavior of the big bang, the continuous expansion of the universe with fractal development from the infinitely small to the infinitely large, and the nuclear and magnetic interrelationships between the sun, the planets and their satellites.
To sum up the idea:
