2. Hazard assessment by area
The logic of the simplified AROM method, which is applied in the design phase, requires us to start with maintainability analyses, which characterize the product design and the maintenance operations to be carried out. The next step concerns the ergonomics of the product in relation to the work situations imposed by the maintenance procedures carried out by the maintenance operator. The final stage assesses the working environment in which the maintenance operator will perform the maintenance operations required to keep the product in operational condition.
In this way, the logic of the AROM method makes it possible to identify, during this design phase, the risks associated with the maintenance operator in relation to the hazards inherent in the three proposed areas. The list of hazards prioritized by the working group, described in table
